Microsoft Acquired LinkedIn in one of the largest business deals!

Recently Microsoft announced its plan to acquire LinkedIn for 26.2 billion dollars.  Microsoft will acquire LinkedIn for 196 dollars per share in an all-cash transaction inclusive of LinkedIn’s net cash. However, LinkedIn will retain its distinct brand, culture and independence. The deal has been harmoniously approved by the boards of directors of both the companies.
LinkedIn is the world’s largest and most valuable work-focused social networking website which continues to build a strong and growing business. Over the past year, the company has launched a new version of its mobile app that has led to increased member engagement and enhanced the newsfeed of LinkedIn to deliver the vision of business better than ever.  LinkedIn also acquired an online learning platform called as Lynda.com to increase its dimensions.
